Started off my day by reading stories (: Seems like a nice way to start off my day but.....
Then, I got a call from my DRP teacher. Apparently, the entire DRP team refused to let us start our DRP in April so she has no choice but to kindly ask us to start our DRP tomorrow, which leaves us with no other alternative. Its either that or say sayonara to DRP.
Anyway, since it was a last minute decision, we are trying desperately to gather as much information as possible on ammonia and host proteins. Vaguely remember the teacher mentioned something about 2D electrophoresis. The gel looks like abstract art. I wonder how we are gonna interpret the results.

Haha. Here I thought 1D electrophoresis is bad enough with all the bands, smearing and contaminants, 2D electrophoresis is 2x worse. But look at the bright side, we are learning something new and totally relevant to our coursework.... I hope... that's the only comfort that I'm going to receive.
Dreadful. DRP is certainly going to be dreadful.
I feel bad because I had to cancel a few of my outings at the last minute. Sorry everyone! I'll make it up to you....after my DRP.
