Alright, this week's Basic Microbiology lab session pictures (:
Click on the pictures to enlarge it.
Chlamydomonas
Paramecium
Penicillium

This should be Escherichia coli
Rhizopus
Rhizopus sporangia
This is called "Water Bear". Another class was took a sample of the pond water to see what microorganisms or animal live in it. In this case, you can see the "Water Bear", which is an animal, not a microorganism. It is a segmented animal with eight legs. It is called "Water Bear" because the way it walks resembles a bear. Kinda strange, I know. It looks like a big fat worm to me.
& Qh thinks its cute. LOL! Too bad her handphone battery was running low on the day itself after lab session because she said that she wanted to see the video of the water bear when she's bored. LOL!
I don't know what this is called but I only know that its a really tiny bug that is found in the same sample of the pond water. Its ugly =.=
.
Yep, that's all for the lab session on Thursday (: The bug and water bear are disgusting little creatures.
